User Roles

Damstra Insights has two user roles with distinct permissions: Creators and Viewers. Understanding these roles is crucial for effective collaboration and data visualisation.

1. Creator

Users with Creator access can (click the bullets below to learn more):

• Create a Dashboard
• Edit a Dashboard
• Save a Dashboard
• Delete a Dashboard
• Add Visuals to a Dashboard
• Schedule a Dashboard Report
• Share a Dashboard
• Create local visuals
• Edit Visuals
• Share a Visual
• Save Visuals
• Add Visuals to the Visual Gallery

2. Viewer

Users with Viewer access can see shared dashboards and data in visuals. Viewers can navigate and adjust the dashboard and visuals temporarily. Any changes made are discarded when they navigate away from the dashboard. Viewers can also export dashboards.
