Lesson Categories allow separation and organisation of your content in the library. You can set up Lesson Categories to create logical divisions for your lessons in the library.
To create and manage lesson categories;
- Log in as an administrator
- Go to Manage > Configuration > Lesson Categories
- Click Add then enter category details to create your first category.
Note: If no parent category is selected, it will be a parent category. To create a child category select a parent category. - To save the category, click Add. Your category is now selectable in the Lesson details.
To assign a Lesson to a Category;
- Go to the Lesson list and find a lesson.
- Select the Lesson name to view the lesson details, or select the ellipsis then choose Details.
- In the lesson Library section, you can choose a category for that lesson to appear in.
Note: For the lesson to appear in the library, you must tick the Add to Library setting.
- The Lesson will now be available in the library under the selected category.
Note: If a user doesn't have access to any lessons in a category, that category won't show up in their library.
