Create sessions to allow instructors to record attendee progress and results.
To create a session:
- From the Sessions page, click the Add button.
- Create the session by assigning an ILT lesson, setting up the start & end time & date, entering the location, assigning an instructor, and adding session notes.
Lesson: This determines which lesson the session is for. Trainee's who are scheduled to complete that lesson may register for this session
Start and End Dates: This is the expected date and time for which the session will take place. Usually, this will correlate to the in-person training session. When a Trainee registers for a session, they will be sent a calendar event for that session with these times.
Location: The place where the session is to take place
Places available: This allows you to restrict the number of Trainees that can register for this session. Please note that this limit does not apply when an admin manually assigns a session to a Trainee.
Instructor: The user who will run the session. This user will need to be an Administrator or have the instructor role in the Damstra Learning platform. This user can also complete the session.
Session Notes: Extra information that is visible to a Trainee when they have signed up for the session.
NOTE: The lesson, date & time, and location cannot be changed after creating the session.

Filter the session lists by filtering the session status from Active, Completed, Cancelled, or All.
The first column in the table contains the location and time of the session (in your local timezone). If you click the link, you will be taken to the session details page, where you can further edit information, or view users registered to attend the session.
Click the ellipsis to bring up more actions including view session details, view session attendees, and cancel session.
