DS Release 27 Jan 2022 - Integration between Safety and Forms (Vehicle Inspection Form)

Release Overview

• When: Thursday 27 January 2022
• What: Data entered for a vehicle inspection in Forms is automatically updated into Safety. This avoids multiple data entry, saving time and ensuring accuracy and currency of data.
  This is the start of the process to replace the legacy Check mobile app with Damstra Forms.
• Who gets these changes: Clients who already use Safety and Forms and have requested for the integration to be enabled.

Key Changes

There are no UI changes in this release. The integration happens seamlessly in the backend: once the data of a vehicle inspection is entered and saved in Forms, it is then passed to Safety and appears in the details of the vehicle in the Transport register, including mileage data and a PDF inspection report.
