About Crews
Crews provide the capability to add and manage your Crews (teams of people) so that you can readily track people and teams by;
- Crews
- People in crews
- On-site now
- Notifications
- Timecard reports
- Skills matrix
Managing crews allows you to understand who's on-site, their skills and report on past activities as well as receive notifications for Overstay alerts, Fatigue alerts and more.
Create a new crew
When you need to add a new crew to Damstra you can add the crew and employees by going to Workforce Management → Create New Crew.
Or by selecting the button from the All Crews page.
When adding a new crew, you select the worksite (if multiple access to different worksites) and add a new crew name.
If the user only has one worksite access, the system will not ask you as this will default to your worksite. The user can proceed in providing the preferred Crew name.
The crew can also have a Manager added with their email and mobile number for notification which is also available from the list to select depending on the notification you may require for your crew.
Click the button at the bottom right to save the New Crew and proceed in adding employees to the new crew.
Add an Employee to a new crew - Search and select
You can add employees to a crew by clicking the button. Select the employees you want to add to this new crew by:
- Selecting employees by company
- Searching the employee by name or ID
- Selecting employees from the list
Users can also filter the employees who are Inactive and Deactivated. If you change your mind you can select or
from the currently selected and then they won't be added to the crew.
