Add Widget Comments

Users can now create and read comments for individual widgets included in their dashboards.

• Commenter users can create, edit, format, and delete their own comments, as well as view all available comments associated with a widget.
• Viewer users can view all available comments associated with a widget.
• Creators can create and edit their own comments, as well as delete other user’s comments and view all available comments associated with a widget.

When users create a widget comment, it is linked to the widget in dashboard you've added it to. If you delete the widget or dashboard, the comments are deleted as well.

To add a comment to a widget:

1. Select in a widget or the visual sidebar (if available). The Widget Comments work area opens.
   
2. Enter your comment using the widget format tools to adjust the look and layout of your text, or add links.
3. As you add and update your text, you can use keyboard shortcuts to undo and redo text changes.
4. When you've added the information you need, select Save to save your comment.
