What you’ll need
You will need the following components and tools to complete this install:
- Philips Head Screwdriver & Allen Key Set
- Replacement Mini PC Unit
- Replacement 12v Power Adapter with IEC Power Cable
NOTE: This process involves low voltage computer connections & an electrician is not required.
How to install
Follow steps 1 to 6 below to complete the install:
- Unlock, open the Terminal Cabinet & turn off all mains power to the Terminal.
- Locate & unplug the current Power Adapter (highlighted in green in the image below).
- Connect the new Power Adapter to the round socket on the Mini PC.
- Connect the other end of the cable to an available power outlet (or use the included IEC Cable)
- Restore power to the Terminal, close & lock the Terminal Cabinet
- Allow the Terminal to complete the start-up
If the Terminal is now operational, then please return the unused Mini PC unit to the address below.
However, if any Terminal power or start-up issues persist, then please continue with steps 7 to 13.
- Unlock, open the Terminal Cabinet & turn off all mains power to the Terminal.
- Unplug all cables which are attached to the current Mini PC.
- Unscrew & remove the Mini PC unit from the Terminal Cabinet (highlighted in red below)
- Install the new Mini PC & tighten the screws.
- Connect all cables to the Mini PC, using the same socket positions as the previous
- Restore power to the Terminal, close & lock the Terminal Cabinet
- Allow the Terminal to complete the start-up
What to do with the replaced components?
If replaced (or unused), please organise to ship the remaining Mini PC unit back to:
