The skills matrix detail page is accessed via the skills matrix page → saved matrixes → skills matrix details page.
The skills matrix detail page allows users to manage, customise and delete previously created skills matrix. Users can perform the following actions:
- Change the visibility of the skills matrix i.e. visible to the owner, public or shared with other employees.
- Include/exclude employees, skills, and skills groups from the skills matrix
- Customise display options of the skills matrix on the skills matrix summary page
- Schedule emails for the skills matrix
- Review the change history of the skills matrix
1. Matrix details top summary info
This section is at the top of the skills matrix details page and allows users to view a summary of the skills matrix details page. The following information is displayed in this section:
- Title of the skills matrix detail page
- A default badge will be displayed if the selected skills matrix detail page has been set up as a default skills matrix detail page. To learn more about defaulting a skills matrix detail page, click here.
- Visibility
- Shows whether the skills matrix detail page is shared with the owner only, public or with specific employees.
- Shows the creation date and the creator name of the selected skilled matrix detail page
- Shows the last modified date and the modifier name of the selected skilled matrix detail page
- Shows scheduled date/time and frequency of emails of the selected skills matrix detail page.
- Click the
button to delete the selected skills matrix detail page.
2. View tab
The view tab allows users to preview the skills matrix details page as displayed on the skills matrix summary page. This allows users to review, make amendments and finalise the skills matrix detail page. The following information is displayed in this section:
- Shows total number of employees selected, skills selected, valid skills, expired skills, skills to be reviewed in 90 days, restricted level, quarantined skills and archived skills
- Shows a table chart of an employee with additional information i.e. crew, department, latest medical expiry, date of birth, last on-site, company name, company start date, job titles, last negative alcohol test, induction expiry date etc.
- Users can reorder columns in the skills matrix detail page → display tab.
- Users can download the matrix into Excel by clicking the
button
3. Details tab
This section allows users to change the visibility of the skills matrix page to:
- Only you
- This will make the selected skills matrix visible to the owner only
- Public
- This will make the selected skills matrix available to anyone who has access to skills matrixes for the worksite(s).
- Shared
- This will make the selected skills matrix available to specific employees mentioned in the shared list.
- This will make the selected skills matrix available to specific employees mentioned in the shared list.
4. Data tab
This section allows users to add or exclude employees, skills, and skills groups from the skills matrix
1. Employees
- Employees to include
- This drop-down allows users to choose employees for the selected worksite(s). The following menu items are displayed in the drop-down menu:
- Real time options

- This drop-down allows users to choose employees for the selected worksite(s). The following menu items are displayed in the drop-down menu:
- The following additional settings can be applied by clicking the checkbox:
- Don't show an employee in the matrix if they have none of the skills selected from the skills section.
- Don't show an employee in the matrix if they have none of the skills selected from the skills section.
2. Skill Columns
- Saved skills list
- This drop-down allows users to choose a previously saved skill template from the saved skills list.
- Manage your saved skill lists:

- Users can search for a specific skill by clicking on the filter by groups drop-down menu.
- Users can search for specific skills by typing in the skill name in the search skills field.
- Users can choose additional preferences such as only show skills with skill codes by clicking on the checkbox.
- Users can save the customised skills theme by clicking on Create a new skills list using the currently selected skills checkbox. The saved theme can be accessed via the manage your lists hyerlink.
- Users can hide the skill column if none of the selected employees have that skill.
3 Update button
- Click the
button to save the changes on the selected skills matrix report.
5. Display tab
This section allows users to manage display options of the skills matrix.
1. Order skills
- This section allows users to arrange column orders for the selected skills. To re-order columns, click on the skill column name, drag and move it to the desired order number.
2. Columns & skill information
- Columns to include:
- This section allows users to include/exclude columns to display employee information based on the worksite(s) preference. The following columns can be included or excluded in the skills matrix report page:
- Crew name
- Department
- Latest medical expiry date
- Date of birth
- Last date the employee was last on-site
- Company
- Date employee started with their company
- Job titles
- Date of last negative drug test
- Date of last negative alcohol test
- This section allows users to include/exclude columns to display employee information based on the worksite(s) preference. The following columns can be included or excluded in the skills matrix report page:
- Skill display
- This section allows users to display skills on the skills matrix report page by
- Icon, expiry date and skill level OR
- Icon only.
- This section allows users to display skills on the skills matrix report page by
- Additional settings:
- This section allows users to choose additional settings to display information based on the worksite(s) preferences as shown below:
- Include start date for all skills
- Only show expired skills & skills expiring in the next 90 days
- Abbreviate skill level
- Show time frame until expiry in the next 90 days
- This section allows users to choose additional settings to display information based on the worksite(s) preferences as shown below:
3. Skill colours & preview
- This section allows users to
- Choose a default colour theme by clicking on the theme drop-down menu.
- Manage existing colour themes in the manage your themes section. The following information is displayed in the Manage Your Theme section:
- View the list of all saved themes.
- View default theme
- No of saved matrixes using the selected theme
- View the change history of the selected theme
- Click the delete button to delete an existing theme.
- Create a new customised colour theme and save it
- Colour code each skill based on the user preferences.
4. Update button
- Click the
button to save the changes on the selected skill matrix report page.
6. Scheduled email tab
This section allows users to schedule automated emails for the selected matrix.
- Users can change the frequency of emails by:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Users can select a specific time for the report to be sent out
- Users can select single or multiple recipients of the selected skills matrix report.
